Enabling Functional Currency for use with eConnect

One of our developers was writing an application to push data into GP with eConnect, which requires a functional currency to be enabled.  The steps are simple enough but wanted to document them here for easy recall. 

1.  Enable access for company you’re working with to the desired functional currency – from the Microsoft Dynamics GP menu choose Tools, Setup, System, Multicurrency Access.  Enable access to the desired currency for the company.

2.  Choose functional currency – from the Microsoft Dynamics GP menu choose Tools, Setup, Financial, Multicurrency.  Select the desired currency in the Functional Currency field, choose OK. 

3.  Run check links on Multicurrency Setup table if prompted.
